Just finished reading the book.Loved it! It's another tool for my arsenal (the never give up one) Not exactly on the couch (at least not all the time) but off the fast lane in the space where one slows down enough to think about what's next? Watched some Guiding Light during my pregnancies but don't remember enough. Watched a little of the interview videos, I am seeing a dinamic vital and still beautiful woman that has walked her talk. Thank you! It is very inspiring. D. Marshall

I have so enjoyed reading your book. Of course, I+ love the sections that talk about all of your "Guiding Light family". My mother got me interested in the show years ago. However, what means the most to me are the challenges I am receiving, at age 62, to embrace my age and all that it brings. I feel challenged to get out and start walking after work and to not let anything or anybody make me question my value. Thank you, Tina, for this book.

Furry dog slippers -my shoe story My shoe story is about my furry dog slippers that I have had for 7 years. I like them because as an adult I think we can always have our inner child around to keep us focused on what is important in life. They are a reminder to me through the years that I have them to always have some comfort and some silliness in my life and not take things too seriously. They were a Christmas from my friend and her daughter , which makes them extra special. Shoes do have some importance of marking out times in our life which our transitional and also can be reminders of things we like to have in our life always.
